Erich Klessmann's (IMA Klessmann) and Georg Schelling's (Schelling Anlagenbau) courage, willingness to experiment and the enthusiasm for technology laid the foundation for today's success of the Group. Rooted in midsized traditions and values, IMA Klessmann and Schelling Anlagenbau first separately evolved into international, successful machine and plant builders. In 2015, the privately-run IMA Schelling Group and thus the leading solution provider in the wood processing industry emerged from long-standing cooperation partners.
In 2017, IMA Schelling Group completed construction of a new showroom in the US located in Raleigh, NC. The 10,000 square foot showroom gives visitors the opportunity to observe machine demonstrations, receive training and hands-on experience with the machines, and speak face to face with the expert staff of IMA Schelling.
Completion of the new showroom marks an open-invitation for guests to test and monitor performance of the Schelling and IMA machines under power with our materials.
The new showroom features the latest panel and plate saws, edgebanders, and automated material handling systems that IMA, Schelling and Barbaric have to offer.
IMA Schelling Group representatives will be able to demonstrate each machine on the showroom floor to customers and partners.
