There are currently three models in the K range to choose from, the K 33, the K 36, and the K 37. All three are CNC compatible and come equipped with a 10-inch PLC control with a touch-screen. Other standard features across the range include diamond-tipped milling aggregates and a top side, fast-heating glue pot. Top and bottom trimming comes as standard as does a corner rounding unit and a trim saw.
K 33: PROVEN IN THE JOINERY WORLD
To begin with, the K 33 edgebander comes with a pot interchange mount, including an adhesive interchanger for PUR processing as standard as well as a handy support plate for processing edge material effectively. There is also an automatic central lubrication system which helps to keep the unit's trim saw and corner rounding unit in mint condition even in warm working conditions. Optional extras include an Airtronic system which helps to maintain good contact between the K 33's surface scraper and the item being processed.
K 36: YOUR PERFORMANCE PLUS – POWERFUL AND ROBUST
Slightly larger, at approx 3,745 lbs, the K 36 is purpose-built for industrial levels of edge banding day and night. This particular machine has all the power capability you might need, with about 14 kW delivering a rapid feed rate of up to 10 meters per second. Easy to service and maintain, the K 36 has a visual display for workpiece sequencing that comes as standard. Optional features include a grooving saw unit and a useful top and bottom trimming system that allows users to double up their processes. Of the three machines in the K range, the K 36 is the middle-sized option, with an overall length of 5,540 mm.
K 37: MAXIMUM POWER – MORE IS NOT POSSIBLE
Delivering the most power in the K range, the K 37 makes use of a 400 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz electrical connection. It is the biggest edgebander under the Altendorf brand with sufficient space for all available finishing equipment. Weighing approx two metric tonnes, the K 37 comes with the same rapid glue pot that the other machines in the range do. In addition, there are further standard features like a conveyor chain with permanently attached special links and a grooving saw. In terms of accessories, users can choose from options like a multi-radius profile scraper to ensure their edgebander truly meets all of their requirements.

Two cameras collect data for hand recognition from a wide space around the saw blade. As soon as intruding hands are detected there, the sawing unit is quickly lowered and quickly stopped within a quarter of a second.
The F 45 ElmoDrive incorporates the most advanced and comprehensive control technology available for sliding table saws. The operating concept employs a large 12” touchscreen that enables you to select the axes and the software functions.
The Vario motors are manufactured and optimised specially for use in sliding table saws. They provide up to 20 % more torque than conventional electric motors without increasing power consumption.
The CNC rip fence has a traverse speed of 250 mm/s and an accuracy of ±1/10 mm. The high-precision five-point recirculating ball spindle system needs little maintenance and, along with the motor, is well protected by its integration into the aluminium profile.
