​SPRAYING ARMS

The new-concept central spraying arm gives excellent application performances combined with paint saving. Particularly easy manual spray gun opening access to simplify maintenance. Prima is also ideal for glass finishing. In this configuration, the machine is equipped with a special spraying arm and the most flexible system for spraying on glass, since it is able to apply any type of paint.

OVERSPRAY FILTRATION

Suction is through two-stage dry filters, an economical, efficient system. The large filtering surface area guarantees better air distribution, which translates into uniform finishing and a cleaner machine.

CONVEYOR SYSTEM

The paper conveyor system, with automatic pay-off and take-up system, features a vacuum unit which provides all the benefits of a continuous conveyor: immaculate panel underside cleaning and uniform application on edges and face of workpieces. Paper rollers are located at the entry and exit points to aid fast-changing.

READING BARRIER

MITO is equipped with a high-precision photodiode reading barrier for scanning incoming workpieces. Precise scanning of workpieces' size and the processing of their position by the control software allows spraying to be optimised, minimising the wastage of paint.

SPRAYING ARMS

MITO can be equipped with 1 central or 2 side arms. The arms are able to manage colour/product change automatically and fast. Valve and time control can be handled directly by the software.
MITO is also suitable for glass. The MITO Glass configuration is absolutely the most flexible system for spraying on glass, since it is able to apply any type of paint. It is equipped with 1 special arm, which allows very fast automatic colour change, perfect for small production batches.

PLENUM

MITO has a patented “Airsphere” Plenum to guarantee a flow of perfectly clean air into the spraying zone, eliminating overspray residues during processing. The system ensures a high quality finish.

CONVEYOR SYSTEM

MITO can be equipped with paper or carbon fibre belt (CFB) conveyor system. The paper conveyor is the perfect solution for glues and non-recoverable paints. The paper belt is completely taut at all times thanks to a vacuum system, which keeps the underside of panels perfectly clean as well as guaranteeing immaculate, uniform application on edge and face. It also has an automatic pay-off and take-up system for quick, convenient replacement.
The carbon fibre CFB conveyor is perfect for spraying any type of recoverable water or solvent-based paint. The CFB configuration is equipped with a patented HCD automatic recovery and cleaning system, which minimises maintenance procedures and solvent use. It also features a patented automatic belt centring system to ensure a perfectly stable working surface.

Easy is the easy-to-use two-arm oscillating spray machine developed to provide finishes of the very highest quality. It can provide the basis for complex systems, especially to meet high-volume production needs.

Patented recovery system. Paint is recovered by a counter-turning roller, while the rest of the system ensures perfect belt cleaning. Solvent consumption and end-of-session cleaning times are minimised. The FLEX version (with belt recovery) has been developed for users who paint small batches with frequent colour changes.

SPRAYING ARMS

Oscillation of the two spray-gun arms is powered by a brushless motor and positive drive belts, with separate ways and supports. Quick-fitting interchangeable arms available as an optional.

READING BARRIER

Thanks to its reading barrier, the machine precisely scans the shape and size of incoming pieces to optimise spraying and avoid wasting paint.

CONVEYOR SYSTEM

The system is equipped with a carbon fibre conveyor belt (CFB) to ensure perfect piece adherence to the conveyor surface, immaculate edge coating quality and no overspray in the undersides of pieces. The belt also features an automatic centring device to guarantee correct conveyor belt positioning on the high precision carriage. This belt simplifies overspray recovery while also minimising solvent use and cleaning and maintenance procedures.

OVERSPRAY FILTRATION

The filtering system, with dry or water filters, combines with an "Airsphere" air diffusion Plenum (Cefla patented), an innovative method for controlling the air flow inside the machine for maximised spraying quality and higher transfer-efficiency.

Water-Based Stain or Primer Application and Drying

The CVR finishing system for profiles integrates sanding, coating and drying in one single and easy to use machine. A vacuum unit applies water-based stain or primer uniformly onto any profile or shape to produce a consistent and uniform coloring. This vacuum process enhances grain definition without the need for brush or hand wiping.

1. Pre-Sanding/Denibbing:

Upon request, the in-feed conveyor can accommodate sanding heads with abrasive strip brushes for pre-sanding prior to coating application.

2. Vacuum Application:

The stain/primer is applied by a stainless steel vacuum coater system. It is possible to control the amount of applied product equally on up to 4 sides by simply increasing or decreasing the vacuum level in the application head.

3. Short Wave IR drying:

After exiting the vacuum head the profile enters an IR curing tunnel and passes under multiple high-intensity IR emitters. The emitters irradiate the molding 360° for perfect curing in just seconds. The freshly coated mouldings can then be stacked or processed immediately thereafter.

Description

The CVS UV Finishing System can meet the needs of any coating formulation to match color, sheen, abrasion, and chemical resistance. In addition, the process provides total control of the cure temperature, making it ideal for heat sensitive substrates and/or applications.

The CVS is the only moulding finishing system for UV that incorporates Sanding, Coating and Curing in a single system.

Sanding:
A motorized roller conveyor with center adjustable guides and hold-downs provides the infeed platform on which the sanding wheel units can be fitted and individually positioned to sand up to all 4 sides of the profile.

UV Coating:
The coating is pumped into the application head which is outfitted with a front and back template gate. The substrate is pushed through the gates where it is coated on selected sections or on all 4 sides in a single pass. The negative pressure inside the chamber pulls the surrounding air, at a controlled speed, through the small fissure around the substrate and draws the excess coating back into the separation tower. The coating is continuously recycled, making the CVS UV Finishing System an economical and environmentally-conscious solution.

Curing:
The freshly coated substrate is fed into the curing tunnel for instant all-around polymerization of the photosensitive coatings by multiple UV lamps. Sliding doors allow easy access to the UV lamps for easy adjustment and maintenance forced and filtered air maintains adequate cooling of lamps and radiation chamber

Designed with small- to medium-sized productions in mind, the CVS series is simple to install, use and maintain.

Description

UniDry-G is a gas-powered, linear drying system that provides the optimal combination of reduced dry time, compact size, and minimized environmental footprint. It reduces dry time by 6-8 times when compared to traditional drying methods and the size of the in-feed opening can accommodate a variety of part shapes. At 4 feet wide and 8 feet long, it can fit into any size shop as an in-line or stand-alone unit. This system is unique in that it utilizes either natural gas or propane, as opposed to convection-style ovens. The oven’s conveyor table and overall dimensions are optimized for integrating with new or existing finishing lines. With the revolutionary FLEXPRO function (patented), the new Omnidry range of vertical ovens represents the final frontier in vertical drying.

Thanks to Flexpro, passage height can be automatically varied on the basis of piece height. Its extreme operating flexibility and versatility in response to logistical requirements make Omnidry perfect, not only for very high output lines, but also for robotic application lines, where greater flexibility is required. This latest-generation oven maintains all the outstanding characteristics of the standard Cefla vertical oven since it can carry out flash off, drying, and cooling all in one (even for paints that need longer drying times), while minimizing the use of floor space. Flexpro is the perfect blend of productivity and flexibility. Passage height adjustment is totally automatic, and the system can manage the entire cycle without operator intervention and without ever stopping production.

The new Omnidry can be equipped with a roller conveyor system combined with "rack" trays for piece collection and cyclic transportation inside the oven, or with conveyor belt systems, combined with motor-operated "belt" trays.
