- Woodworkers Helping Woodworkers | Quis Machinery
Who We Are As I am sure you are aware of the devastation that is the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in WNC. Much of the impact we don't even understand yet and probably will not for a while. Many small woodworking shops have been completely wiped away. With this people's livelihoods. Many of us are asking what we can do to help. Ali is going to put together a list of small shops that will be in need of traditional woodworking machines like planers, jointers, band saws and hand tools. As well as another list of machines and tools that people (you?) are willing to donate. She will also reach out to logistics companies and see if they would be willing to donate some of their services. We will also work on putting together a network of technicians that may be willing to give discounted rates to help get people get their current machines back up and running. And, of course, we are here to help as much as we can on purchases of new equipment for all shop sizes. This will be a larger project done over the next few months, not overnight, as most of the small shops don't currently have a shop to put the equipment yet. But we want to get them back up and running as soon as possible. Please email AliR@Quismachinery and let her know: - if you are able to help and how - if you know of anyone else that might be able to help too - if you need help and how I Can Help! I Need Help! - Epistolio | Quis Machinery
Epistolio EPISTOLIO ROBOTS are engineered and constructed using innovative materials and updated technological solutions, in order to be among the most flexible and user-friendly machines in the market Epistolio painting robots can be equipped with different programming system, such as: SELF-LEARNING: Through this system is possible to use the structure of the robot, which is very light and balanced, to make an initial painting of the pieces. Our control system will record the movements and all the signals and will store them in a program that can be executed automatically by the robot. POINT TO POINT: For pieces that are geometrically defined by regular surfaces bounded by segments, circles, or curves, will be possible to create the painting program just selecting some significant points on the object and connecting/elaborating them through a simple software developed by Epistolio. AUTOMATIC SCANNING SYSTEMS: For those Customers which are looking for totally automatic solutions, Epistolio has developed vision systems of photocells, cameras, and lasers that are able to define the shape and the dimensions of the surfaces to be painted and to automatically create the related painting programs. OFFLINE: Epistolio has developed different software tools for offline programming of the robot. In this case, the robot is programmed as a CNC machine. A CAD/CAM software is importing the 3D drawing of the piece and is generating the robot path. Through a simulator, is possible to verify the movements of the robot and the results of the painting from the computer, before executing the program automatically. Brochure Contact Us
